Since 2004, OWC Distribution has been providing transportation services for self-distributed wineries in Oregon.  What began as a small joint venture has grown into a flourishing business providing services for wineries delivering within Oregon.

 

OWC Distribution is based in McMinnville, Oregon – the heart of Oregon’s wine country. With our location near many Oregon wineries and close to large wine warehousing facilities, we can easily pick up and deliver wine to restaurants and wine retailers throughout the state.

Marc Harris, CPIM, CSCP

President - OWC Distribution

With more than 25 years' domestic and international experience in operations and supply chain management, Marc brings a passion for wine and in-depth knowledge of logistics, inventory, and transportation management to the wine industry.  He holds professional certifications in production and inventory management and supply chain management.

 

Marc has served several years on the international Board of Directors of APICS – The Association for Operations Management, most recently as Treasurer. APICS serves more than 30,000 operations and supply chain management professional members and their organizations by helping them successfully compete and build a stronger global economy.  He currently serves on the board of the APICS Education & Research Foundation.

 

Marc was honored by the Portland Oregon Chapter of APICS as the 2008 Instructor of the Year for his efforts to educate supply chain professionals regarding standards and best practices.
